What Quote Bench Is
Quote Bench is a pricing calculator and quoting tool for laser engraving and cutting shops. It helps you calculate costs, set margins, and generate customer-facing quotes and receipts based on the information you enter.
Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account, including actions taken by anyone you invite as a Team Member. Team Members operate within your own signed-in session rather than as separate accounts — see the Privacy Policy for what that means for data access.
Free, Shop Unlock, and Shop Pro
The core calculator is free to use, including for anonymous (signed-out) use with local-only saving. Shop Unlock is a one-time $30 purchase that unlocks unlimited quote history, Machine Profiles, Job Portfolio, advanced reports, and one-click PDF export. Shop Pro is a $19/month subscription that additionally unlocks Business Insights and Team Members. Feature availability by tier is shown in the app's Features/Roadmap section.
Billing and Cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe. Shop Pro subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the current billing period. We do not currently have a general refund policy — if something went wrong with a charge, contact Support and we'll look at it directly.
Your Saved Data
Quotes, shop settings, machine profiles, portfolio entries, and shop branding you save remain yours. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu, which removes your associated Quote Bench data.
Acceptable Use
Don't use Quote Bench to abuse, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data.
Intellectual Property
Quote Bench's software and underlying calculation logic are the property of its author. The quotes, receipts, and data you generate using your own inputs belong to you.
Service Availability and Changes
Quote Bench is provided as-is. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may be added, changed, or removed over time. We'll use reasonable efforts to keep your saved data intact when we do.
Pricing Calculation Disclaimer
Quote Bench performs calculations based entirely on the numbers you enter — material costs, machine rates, labor rates, margins, and tax settings. It is a tool to assist your pricing decisions, not a guarantee of profitability, tax compliance, or market-appropriate pricing. You are responsible for verifying that your inputs are accurate, that your final customer pricing is appropriate for your business and market, and that you comply with applicable tax and business laws in your jurisdiction. Quote Bench is not a substitute for accounting, tax, or legal advice.
Suspension / Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using Quote Bench and delete your account at any time.
Limitation of Liability
Quote Bench is provided without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for business losses, lost profits, or damages arising from your use of calculations, quotes, or data generated by the app.

What We Store
When you create an account, we store your email address (via Supabase Authentication) and whatever you choose to save: quotes, quote history, shop settings (rates, margin, tax defaults), machine profiles, job portfolio entries, shop branding (shop name and an uploaded logo image), team member names, and your subscription/entitlement status (Free, Shop Unlock, or Shop Pro).
Team Members
Team Members are names you add for attribution and workflow purposes within your own account — they are not separate authenticated user accounts. Anyone using a Team Member identity is operating within your own signed-in session, and their actions and data are not isolated from your account at the account-security level.
Third-Party Services We Use
Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication and password recovery. Your account data described above is stored there.
Stripe — processes payments for Shop Unlock and Shop Pro. Quote Bench never receives or stores your card number; Stripe handles that directly.
Resend — delivers transactional account emails (sign-up confirmation, password recovery codes). We don't use it for marketing email.
Cloudflare — hosts the application itself.
Local Browser Storage
Quote Bench stores a small amount of data directly in your browser: your unit preference (Standard/Metric), laser wattage selection, material pricing method, and (temporarily, cleared when the tab closes) recovery-flow and section-collapse state. If you use Quote Bench signed out, your quotes and settings are saved locally in your browser only, not on our servers, until you sign in.
We do not use cookies, and we do not use any analytics or advertising tracking.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data persists until you delete it yourself or delete your account. Deleting your account (available from the account menu) removes your associated Quote Bench data from our database.
Security
Access to your data is restricted to your own account through database-level access rules. We rely on Supabase, Stripe, Resend, and Cloudflare's own infrastructure and security practices for the services they provide; we have not made independent claims about encryption standards beyond what those providers publish themselves.
Children's Privacy
Quote Bench is a business tool not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

To request a copy of your data, ask a question about what we store, or request deletion beyond what the account-deletion feature covers, contact us at the address below.

iRotary is for cylindrical objects — tumblers, bottles, mugs, glasses, pipes.
iScales the machine-time estimate for CO2 and diode machines — higher power, faster estimate. Leave blank to skip this.
iGalvo machines steer the beam with mirrors instead of a moving head, so engraving estimates are scaled accordingly. Galvo system type does not affect cutting time. Currently applies to automatic engraving-time estimates only — cutting-time estimation is planned for a future update.
